This is some tough hose!! Thick, strong reinforced hose. Don't even think about trying to cut it with a knife! Hacksaw is the only way to cut it. The only negatives I have are:1) I found it difficult to get the hose clamped tightly due to its hard case, Actually broke a clamp trying to tighten it down enough to stop a drip on my pond filter.2) You really need to stretch it out and let it sit in the sun for a while to get it to uncoil.Beyond that its great and I'm certain it will outlast the cheap, ribbed stuff. The hose is not what I thought I was buying it is a solid hoes, and I don't see it ever being "Flexible", the cost was good. Didn't use the hose, cause I really needed the "Flexible" hose, so had to go and purchase another hose, hopefully I will find a use for this one.In increasing the size of my pond, I installed a large waterfall/filter unit that required a larger pump and larger gauge pipe between the waterfall and the pump. This product is sold all over the web at substantially lower prices than some of the name brands, and it gets better reviews. I am very happy with the strength and flexibility of this tubing and plan to purchase more in various sizes in the future.not extremely flexible. Make sure you don't need it to be.Every flex pvc I've ever used has been fairly smooth. This one is heavily corrugated, though. I'm concerned about the bond in PVC fittings due to the reduced surface area touching the fitting.Everything is as described.
