In the pass I had purchased a battery operated ground model self winding hose reel. It was a hassle to recharge. The housing box moved every time you tried to wind and unwind the hose. Just didn’t work well. THEN I came across this self winding hose reel while caring for my neighbor’s flowers while they were on vacation. I was totally “reel” in! So simple to use. Just a quick tug on the extended hose and the hose rewinds super quickly back into it’s housing. The housing turns left, right or straight out for easy maneuvering. It comes with a wall bracket and sturdy lag bolts. The housing can be easily removed for winter storage. Just pull up on the holding pin and remove the housing with the built in handle. Comes with a sprinkling head with several different settings. No more turning a hose reel handle, gathering up long, heavy hoses for me. I always believed to “work smarter not harder”, and this clever, so easy to use, truly self-winding hose reel is the perfect solution!It is easy to install as long as you have these kinds of installations before and have basic knowledge of installs. You have the option to change over to metal adapters if you wish to modify from plastic to metal fittings. You will need to get those from a hardware store if you decide to change over.
