I love this thing. We have a pretty large screened in pool area and always had bulky hose reels that you hand crank sitting on our travertine tile! It was impossible to hand crank without getting stuck. This retractable reel is awesome. Goes back perfect every time. I find myself keeping things cleaner on the deck since it's so easy to get the hose out and put it back! Going to buy another for the driveway for car washing.Cons: The hose is small in diameter but it's fine. The whole thing is plastic, including the wall mount and the "pin" holding it to the mount... so I do question longevity. BUT, so far so good.I like how it was not so hard to install. Just had to drill and use the included bolts. I enjoy not having to pick up the hose ever again, just pull and retract.I have been using a different type of hose reel for many years and one of them finally broke. Since I couldn’t find an identical replacement I ordered this hose reel. Had I known about this reel earlier I would have switched earlier. It is remarkably easy to maneuver and is very light! I am very pleased!I had a issue with the wall bracket after 6 months of installation and I reached out to Mich at [email protected] and he send out the spare part immediately. I really like the warranty support.I wanted a retractable hose for my frontyard and I was browing Amazon app for buying one. Initially I had bought the amazon basics retractable hose unit and since I invested less (which is under $100) I got a cheap all plastic hose which had a leaky hose connector. I returned it and bought this one and I am happy that I invested $30 more and bought this product. It's well made, brass connectors and no leaks whatsoever. Money well spent. I ordered another exact same one from Eneacro for my backyard too. I totally recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality retractable hose under $150 :).Haven’t had any durability issues yet but the hose itself feels much cheaper than my other garden hoses.It’s a great product. Works and looks good. BUT BEWARE, do not retract to fast. The hose can get wrapped around inside and us almost impossible to fix. In fact, most people couldn’t do it. Not designed to open up and fix. Happened to us after six months.I needed to replace a more expensive model from another brand because I failed to drain it properly for a deep freeze. That model's price had doubled, so I read a lot of reviews and settled on this item priced toward the bottom of the range. Three months in, I have to say that it works better than the pricey one ever did, and always walks back to the reel without a snag-retry situation.
