This slide and snap constructed composter is flimsy and overpriced. The purported heat trapping qualities rely on it's dark color and the plastic construction it is no warmer or better insulated than any of the other plastic composters on the market. I use this composter exclusive for pine shavings and chicken droppings. I only add to the composter once a week yet I have to basically reassemble it every week. Do yourself a favor and check out the Sun Mar tumbler, I wish I had.
