This thing is not like a hose end sprayer, where it uses Venturi effect to mix an amount determined by the orifice size into the main stream. Rather, it has a few orifice sizes on a mixing container. All of the flow goes through these orifices, resulting in tremendous pressure drop. Because all the flow goes through the reservoir, you get a high concentration at the beginning that reduces to zero within a couple gallons regardless of the three orifice settings. I am not sure what usage scenario this satisfies. Maybe if you want to dilute soap onto a rug, then take this device out of series to restore full pressure for rinsing? Not what i thought it was- disappointed.
